As Super Tuesday looms, Donald Trump continues to lie about his real estate school Trump University, which is currently involved in three separate lawsuits. On February 28th on Meet The Press, Trump claimed that students were polled and “They signed these documents saying, they rated the course, 98 percent approval rating and high marks…We have an A from the Better Business Bureau.”
Look at about the 2:00 mark in the video:
Trump stated that his failed university got an A from the Better Business Bureau, but a cursory search on the bbb.org website reveals the following:
Trump University, formerly Trump Entrepreneur Initiative, is not accredited with the Better Business Bureau, much less did it receive an A rating. This is simply untrue.
According to the Internet Archive and Politifact, the last time that Trump University had a rating it was 2010 and it was a D-. News articles from 2010 back this claim up, from CBS News, the New York Times and the Washington Post.
